Ok guys we thought this would be a good project and we have placed an order & looking forward to getting everything back. The total cost of this project is about $35 Australian dollars so $15 or so USD.
I have a Zello handheld the KSUN ZL710 and its cool but when I go out with it if I want to listen to real radio then I have to put my HT for HAM/GMRS in my bag as well… This solution may be a way to leave 1 at home???

The Idea is to link your Handheld Transceiver with Zello!! Yes we thought this is crazy as well so we wanted to try it and report back. Below you will see 2 cables for some HT’s and I think even for Tidradio (will let ya know). The idea is to connect the cable to your android device then plug into your HT when a call from Zello is initiated through Zello it sets off the VOX on your radio and you can hear the person and reply through your radio!
For real radio heads this could be a small game changer and enhance your experience with you favourite Zello channels. On our Zello channel SWLQSL.Com we have people from 9 different countries & around 40 active members – this could be a great tool for them!
